The day started normal . ..
| It was 60 and sunny when we left |
| The clouds started rolling in... |
| Then it started misting |
| Then we were driving in the clouds |
| The Spud Drive - In with Extra Large spud on truck |
| When we entered Wyoming from Idaho |
| it started getting worse |
| visibility was 100' |
| Then it started freezing and was getting slick |
| The wipers couldn't keep up |
| Not the time to be driving a motor home through the mountains |
| It was hard to to tell where the road ended and cliff began |
| then the engine started to loose power |
| we weren't sure we could make it up the hill and there was no place to pull over. |
| We would have to pull over to clear the windshield and mirrors |

| We ended up changing course, going down the mountain and heading south @ Jackson Hole. |
| Fueled up and luck would have it we also talked to a diesel mechanic here |
| The storm started to clear and we limped to the next big town ~ Rock Springs, WY |
| We finally made it to a Cummins Service Center and took RV for a test drive on the airport road! |

| Thought the roads were clear ~ and for a little while they were . . . |
| Pulled over dozens of times to clear windshield ~ ugly drive! |

| We pulled into a KOA late, happy to be off the road. Thanks to Brittany!! She helped us find KOA | (that is thick ice!) |
